// why

Why a Dubai-based Magento audit

Most audit providers ranking for the UAE are offshore teams in another timezone or generalist web agencies that treat the audit as one line in a maintenance package. I am an Adobe Commerce Certified Expert, licensed and based in Dubai, so you get a named specialist in your working hours (GST) who understands the GCC commerce stack - not a ticket in a queue.

  • A Dubai Sole Professional Licence (No. 107896) - a registered, invoiceable UAE provider
  • Same-timezone (GST) communication, on-site in Dubai or Abu Dhabi when it helps
  • Independent and vendor-neutral: I do not resell hosting or extensions
  • 12+ years on Magento 1 and 2, from small stores to enterprise Adobe Commerce
// scope

What the Magento audit covers

The audit is the same depth I deliver worldwide, across the areas that actually decide a Magento store’s speed, stability and cost of change. Every finding is rated by severity and placed in a prioritised roadmap with an effort estimate in work-hours.

Performance & Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), TTFB and full-page cache measured against real thresholds.

Code & architecture

Anti-patterns, plugin and preference abuse, and the technical debt that makes every change slower.

Security

Missing patches, known CVEs, admin hardening and points of data exposure.

Upgrade readiness

Blockers, EOL versions and the effort and risk of moving to a supported release.

Module bloat

Third-party module bloat and conflicts that weigh the store down and complicate upgrades.

Technical SEO

Crawlability, structured data and duplicate content created by layered navigation.

// GCC stack

Built for GCC storefronts

A store selling in the UAE and GCC has integrations a generic audit ignores. I check the parts of your Magento that are specific to this market, because they are where regional stores most often break or leak conversion.

  • Regional payment gateways: Telr, PayTabs, Network International (N-Genius), plus Tabby and Tamara BNPL
  • Logistics integrations: Aramex and local courier / fulfilment flows
  • Arabic and RTL storefront correctness (layout, fonts, checkout, indexing of Arabic content)
  • Multi-currency (AED, SAR) and multi-store setup across GCC markets
  • UAE VAT (5%) configured correctly in Magento tax rules, tax classes and invoices
// pricing

Transparent pricing, in AED

No competitor ranking for Magento audits in the UAE publishes a price - you have to request a quote and wait. I don’t. Three fixed packages, priced in AED (USD in brackets), so you know the cost before the first call.

// process

How it works

The audit is non-invasive and does not touch your production store. You share the source code and an anonymised copy of the database; I analyse on a copy, then we walk the report through together - remotely, or in person in Dubai.

Access & discovery

You hand over the source code as an archive or read access to the repository, plus an anonymised copy of the production database (no real sensitive data) and credentials to test accounts for every integration. We talk through your goals and what hurts most - slow pages, a stalled upgrade, or a build you inherited - so the audit targets what actually matters to you.

Analysis

I profile the store, gather metrics and run static analysis on a copy, so there is zero impact on your live storefront. Every layer is checked - performance, code, security, the upgrade path and the GCC integrations - and each issue is documented with evidence rather than opinion. You keep trading normally while the work happens in the background.

Report

You get a written report where every finding is rated by severity and placed in a prioritised roadmap, each with an effort estimate in work-hours and a costed fix. It is written to be read by both a technical team and a business owner, so you can act on it in-house or hand it to any developer without losing context.

Review & roadmap

We walk the report through together in a live session, on-site in Dubai or Abu Dhabi or fully remote, so nothing is lost in translation. You leave with an agreed order of work and clear next steps - whether you implement them yourself, with your agency, or with me. There is no obligation to buy any implementation from me.

// who

Who it’s for

UAE and GCC merchants who suspect their Magento is slower, riskier or more expensive to change than it should be; agencies that want an independent second opinion on a build they inherited or outsourced; and teams weighing an Adobe Commerce upgrade who need the effort and risk quantified before they commit budget.

FAQ

Magento audit in Dubai - FAQ

Yes. I am an Adobe Commerce Certified Expert licensed and based in Dubai (Sole Professional Licence No. 107896), delivering independent Magento audits for merchants and agencies across the UAE and the wider GCC. You get a registered, invoiceable UAE provider working in your timezone, on-site in Dubai or remotely.

From AED 6,000 (USD 1,650) for the Code & Architecture package, AED 8,000 (USD 2,200) for the Performance audit, and AED 10,000 (USD 2,700) for the Comprehensive audit. Prices are fixed and known upfront - no "request a quote and wait". The final figure depends on store size and the number of integrations.

Both. The audit itself runs on a copy of your code and database, so it can be done fully remotely for any GCC store. When it helps, I meet on-site in Dubai or Abu Dhabi for the kick-off or the report review - your choice.

Yes. I audit Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce (Enterprise) and B2B, and the Mage-OS fork, on Luma, Hyva and headless frontends. The methodology is the same across editions; Adobe Commerce adds areas like B2B features, staging and commerce-specific modules.

Yes. I check regional integrations such as Telr, PayTabs, Network International (N-Genius), Tabby and Tamara, plus Aramex logistics, and I review Arabic / RTL storefront correctness - layout, checkout, fonts and how Arabic content is indexed. These are exactly the areas a generic audit skips.

Yes. I review whether UAE VAT (5%) is set up correctly in Magento - tax rules, tax classes, price display, and compliant tax invoices - and flag misconfigurations that cause wrong totals or non-compliant documents. Fixes can be part of the roadmap or handled separately.

Yes. I work with merchants across the GCC - Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman - remotely, including multi-store and multi-currency (AED, SAR) setups. The Dubai base simply means same-timezone work and the option to meet in person in the UAE.
